cooled barren landscape

crusted top

Townsfolk see the scorched mountain

the flow has stopped

still very dangerous

glowing ember afterglow

The flow is cooling

the mountain on fire

first flow

The first light at the cone

the townsfolk take flight

lava aflame

the heat spreads in the underlayers

lava tubes

temperature rising

mountain ready to explode

Lava warming up

tectonic plate movement

Smoky Mountain hike

some parts of the wall sparkle

soaring ceiling in cavern

It's cold and dark in here

we now need our lights to see

the first 40 feet inside

just inside the cave

cave system entrance

rippling canyon walls

iron ore in the canyon

cracks in the rocks

National Park rock formation
